The thyssenkrupp Dynamic Components business unit is one of the leading automotive suppliers and development partners for highly complex drive technologies. Around 3,500 employees produce 27 million drive components per year at a total of ten locations in Germany, Liechtenstein, Hungary, China, the USA, Brazil and Mexico. The product range mainly comprises assembled camshafts, valve train systems and rotor shafts for state-of-the-art combustion, hybrid and electric engines. Further products for battery electric vehicles are already at an advanced stage of development. With our manufacturing and automation expertise, we make a significant contribution to reducing emissions for sustainable mobility.

Your tasks

  • You support quality projects and ensure the supplier's quality development up to series production readiness
  • You monitor the quality performance of suppliers and support QVP and plant quality in the event of a crisis
  • You carry out process release audits at suppliers
  • In addition, you will implement the validations for series complaints
  • You will analyze, process and implement lessons learned tasks throughout the entire product life cycle

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed your studies in the field of mechatronics or electrical engineering, or you have a higher technician with advanced professional experience
  • You have in-depth knowledge or professional experience of the production at electric components suppliers, EMS and electric motor suppliers
  • You already gathered first experiences in the development and project management. A-SPICE experience is an advantage 
  • You have proven experience in the application of QM methods and tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, VDA, etc.)
  • The job requires an increased willingness to travel (>50%)
  • Good language skills in English are mandatory, German language skills are highly appreciated
