Your responsibilities
- You will contribute to innovative steering technology projects within the research and advanced development department
- Your task will include creating a modular Steer-by-Wire simulator for flexible system testing and quick system swaps
- You will utilize dSpace tools and micro autobox to ensure seamless integration with existing simulation tools
- Engaging in simulation-based validation and fault injection testing will be part of your role, helping to reduce the need for costly prototype vehicle testing
- You will enhance efficiency by conducting virtual tests before real-world trials on the test track
- Focusing on worst-case scenarios, you will identify critical failures before any on-road testing takes place
Your profile
- You are currently enrolled in a degree program in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or a similar field (valid enrollment is required)
- Your profile is complemented by commitment, dedication, strong organizational skills, and team spirit
- Experience with Matlab Simulink and a basic understanding of vehicle dynamics are advantageous
- Familiarity with vehicle simulation tools, preferably dSpace, is required
- Experience with CAD tools is also advantageous
- Good German and English, both written and spoken, completes your profile
